Designed and taught undergraduate courses about Artificial Intelligence, Learning & Technology, Technology & Society, and Computer Literacy with learners of diverse cultural backgrounds and different levels of English proficiency (working with classrooms from 10 to 100 learners).

Organized collaboration between the team of 17 researchers and curriculum designers and 4 elementary schools for a large-scale, government grant-sponsored research project; developed research protocols, scheduled and conducted data collection.
Created 4 Common Core Standards-compliant curriculum units for elementary school social studies classes together with other content and design specialists. The implementation of the units led to better student academic achievement, social and civic competencies.

Worked with other volunteers to map villages, roads and buildings in rural Tanzania to protect girls from female genital mutilation (using OpenStreetMap software). This mapping helps on-site workers navigate the environment and get access to remote areas to reach out to more girls in danger.
