Instructional Designer (United Nations Volunteers) 

I was working to help redesign instructional materials for United Nations volunteering focusing on better delivery, accessibility and learning outcomes. I am using Articulate 360 to create the materials.

Grant proposal writer (Kar Geno-Center for Hope, Kenya)

I was working with the Kar Geno Center through the United Nations volunteering system to support the development of grant proposals to empower women with AIDS in Kenya.

- I helped manage international volunteer communication and coordination.

- I researched funding opportunities and background information to include in proposals.

- I worked on proposals with other volunteers. 

Mapper (Tanzania Development Trust)

Through this United Nations volunteering opportunity, I was working with other volunteers to map villages, roads and buildings in rural Tanzania to protect girls from female genital mutilation (using OpenStreetMap software). This mapping helps on-site workers navigate the environment and get access to remote areas to reach out to more girls in danger.

I reviewed academic research articles, provided feedback on studies' quality, and made suggestions for article improvement.

GDEX lead volunteer

I was in charge of coordinating other volunteers and managing communication with the event organizers and some presenters/exhibitors during the event.

GDEX volunteer

I was involved in the implementation of the Game Development Expo, the biggest Midwest game event. I helped guests navigate the building in which it took place, helped speakers who needed assistance, and manage smaller tasks as assigned.

I was in charge of assisting workshop speakers throughout their presentation, as well as guest managing.
